Oklahoma Crossfire is a travel softball team comprised of 10 girls from small schools in the Northwest Oklahoma area. Last week, July 1st – July 6th, the team traveled to Hendersonville, Tennessee to compete in the SE National Softball Championship – Music City USA. They also got to participate in the Parade of Teams for the Fourth of July. By July 5th they were on a 5-game winning streak when they lost 9-1 to Oklahoma Pryme Costello but they weren’t done yet. On July 6th, Oklahoma Crossfire played 7 back to back games to earn the National Championship title. In the process, they beat out 5 different teams and had to beat the Oklahoma Pryme Costello team twice to win it all. With a score of 12-1, these resilient girls made it happen.
