The City of Kingfisher, OK shared the following information regarding an upcoming fire hydrant replacement project.
Beginning this week, contractors will replace 19 non-operational fire hydrants in the area shown on the attached map. This project is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve fire safety and ensure reliable fire protection.
Residents in the project area may experience temporary water service interruptions during construction. The City does not anticipate any interruption lasting longer than eight hours.
Construction activities may temporarily impact streets, sidewalks, or yards within the project area. Any disturbed areas will be restored to their original condition or better upon completion of the work.
The project is expected to be completed within 90 days, although work may be finished sooner.
