Vicki Ann Lorenz, 76, of Kingfisher, OK, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 10, 1948, in Kingfisher, OK, to Kenneth and Wanda Lucille (Miller) Turner. Vicki spent her life in service to others — both professionally and personally — and will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and deep love for her family.
In her early years, Vicki worked as a hairdresser, using her creativity and kind spirit to help others look and feel their best. She later dedicated 17 years to the Kingfisher Clinic, where her compassion and care made a lasting impact on patients and coworkers alike. She retired from Pioneer Telephone as a customer care representative, where her patience and friendliness were deeply appreciated by the community she served.
Vicki found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb and a special love for her cats. She had a passion for shopping — especially garage sales — earning her the affectionate nickname “Garage Sale Queen.” More than anything, she cherished spending time with her family, and nothing brought her more happiness than being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Don F. Lorenz; children, Annette Gurley (Bryan) of Edmond, OK, Ronnie Gurley of Yukon, OK, Mark Lorenz of Watonga, OK and David Lorenz (Christie) of Omega, OK; Grandchildren, Shelby Sims, Makenzie Woodin, Austin Lorenz, Chase Lorenz and Cale Lorenz; Great grandchildren, Kiian Lorenz, Marley Lorenz and Elayzia Lorenz; Sister, Paula Kremeier (Warren); and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Wanda Turner and her sister, Evah Henrichs.
Visitation for Vicki will be Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 9 am-6 pm at Sanders Funeral Service.
A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, June 18 at Sanders Funeral Service Chapel with burial to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery.
