Meet your 5th & 6th Grade Youth Football League Super Bowl Champions! On Saturday, November 2nd the Kingfisher 5th and 6th Grade Football team played the Chisholm Longhorns in the playoffs for a chance to compete in the Chisholm Trial Youth Football League Super Bowl. Our young Jackets beat the Longhorns 33 to 14 securing their spot in the Championship game. The Yellowjackets played the Fairview Jackets for the Super Bowl title on Monday, November 11th. Both teams played hard and kept the momentum going as scoring went back and forth between the Jacket teams. The Kingfisher Yellowjackets ended the game victorious (28-18) with some new hardware (or in this case plasticware) to add to their collection. It’s exciting to think what will become of these boys not only as players but as a team in the future. The team was coached by parents Chase Farrar, Heath Myers, Kade Kusik, Jeffrey Johnson, and Greg Black.
