Kingfisher’s fifth- and sixth-grade football games against the Crescent Tigers brought an evening of football, fun and an unexpected dash out of the stands when heavy rain arrived.
While the young Jackets took on Crescent, there was plenty happening along the sidelines and in the stands. AAK photographer Maitland Woody captured scenes from the evening, with the photo collection focusing more on the people around the field than the plays on it.
Everyone seemed to be enjoying the night until the skies opened up, sending spectators scrambling for cover.
Football weather in Oklahoma can change in a hurry, and this evening came with a soaking to remember.
