Meet Amber Copeland
If you know Amber Copeland, you know she’s always been one to help someone out, whether it’s a friend or someone she just met.
A Hennessey native, Amber is a teller at F&M Bank, Kingfisher, where much of her day is spent visiting with customers and helping with their financial needs, either in person or over the phone. She also works alongside her coworkers, helping wherever she’s needed.
For Amber, working at the bank is really about the people. She enjoys getting to know customers, building relationships, and being someone they know they can trust. She also likes learning more about what happens behind the scenes and how all the different parts of banking work together.
Amber wants the people she helps to leave knowing their needs were handled with care. After all, many of the faces she sees each day are more than customers. “To me, our customers are more than just a business transaction. They are friends and family.”
Outside of the bank, most of Amber’s time is spent with her family. She and her husband, Randy, have three kids, Colton, Lynnze and Koda, along with their honorary daughter, Jara, and two grandkids. Koda will be a senior this school year and is the only one still at home.
Then there’s the “funny farm.” Amber and Randy have goats, chickens, geese, a turkey, rabbits and dogs, so there’s usually something, or some animal, keeping them busy and entertained.
When she gets home from work, Amber’s idea of unwinding is pretty simple: comfy clothes and time at home with Randy and their little fur babies, Luna and Trace.
As for what keeps her motivated each day? “The customers, my family and my love for shopping! Just ask my husband.”
And there’s one thing still sitting pretty high on her bucket list. Amber would love to travel the world someday, with Italy at the top of the list.
Between the bank, her family and the animals, Amber stays plenty busy. But if someone needs a hand, chances are she’ll still find time to help.
